(11:49 a.m.) Yes, I am sick. I’ve been here approximately 24 hours (give or take 15 minutes) and I’m already hacking and wheezing and dealing with drippy nose issues. Either I am getting a cold from riding on the plane with sick people or I am having the allergy attack from hell. I’m thinking it’s the second option because: (1) I am sitting in a room of dusty old documents; (2) my hotel is in a musty old building; and (3) it’s just that time of year. Like Koko – well not as extreme – I, too, have picked a research topic that makes me literally sick. {le sigh} I am hopped up on allergy medicine and am hoping that I will be able to have a short nap this afternoon. We’ll see. Right now, I am about to tackle my last box of dusty documents.
(3:25 p.m.) Am back in my hotel room to take a nap. Maybe I’ll feel better in a little bit.
