Changing Plans.

Well, we were supposed to go on a 7 hour road trip tonight … but that just seems so unappealing right now. Who wants to spend 14 hours in the car (granted, it’s a nice car, but …) over a 48 hour period? Yes, we’re cancelling that particular trip. The upside is that we are going to board the dogs for the weekend and take a day trip somewhere that’s much, much closer. Save on the gas. Save on the stress of leaving tonight at midnight after The Coach’s game. Gain some time for grading. Have a chance to balance the checkbook and pay bills. It’s a little bit of a relief. And yet, I still feel slightly annoyed with myself for letting my job dictate my personal life … again. Grrr.
