I am a {gulp} 40ish, animal-loving, Buffy-watching, liberal college professor trapped in a "sorta' cosmopolitan" city in the reddest district in a red state. I love vanilla lattes, big dogs, and documentaries. I have a TV star crush on David Boreanaz (even though he dressed better in Angel than he does in Bones), Hugh Laurie, the father on The O.C., and Alton Brown. Shhh!
