Holy Shit! You know how I was complaining about the fact that the assessed value of our house went up around $12,500 this year? I was certain that our property taxes would also go up, even though our esteemed governor said that he was capping property tax rates in our state. Well, I’ll be damned, but my property taxes went DOWN by $280 a year.
My intital response was “Woot!”
And then, I thought about the fact that our state sales tax went up by 1 percent. D’oh!
