Hopefully, this is my last week of hell for a while. One of my three major projects finished up on Friday (woot!), so now I’m down to two major things. If you compare lists, you’ll see a common trend — I keep pushing off that damned marketing plan. Must do it soon or my deanly overlord is going to kick my precious little butt. Anyhow, the list is below the break:
- Check Grad Discussion Boards
- Grade Three Grad Memos
- Letter of recommendation
- Complete IRB forms
- Pass IRB test (ugh!)
- Write research design for BAPC
- Email delay notification about BAPC
- Work on Phase I of BAPC
- Assign BAPC research to Lab Assistant
- Photocopies of old BAPC surveys for class
- Photocopies of old BAPC surveys for research team
- Write lecture on research ethics
- Write Friday’s assignment for Undergrads
- Make research team take IRB test
- Research team is in the system and email has been sent to them.
- Marketing plan for Deanly Overlord
- Recruit Adjunct (Oh, the joys of administration)
- Wash and Pack for Trip
- Oil Change in Car
- Eyebrow waxing
- Balance checkbook
- Pay bills (1st of the month, you know?)
- Grade Independent Study Paper
- Clean out accumulated email
- Well, the box is as clean as it’s going to get!
- Follow up on Grad Student Application
- I followed up, but my committee is sloooowwwww.
- Make notecards for Friday’s presentation
- Geez, I made the notecards and then I didn’t even use them.
- Monday: Teach Undergrads
- Monday: Turn in attendance to Registrar’s Office
- I had this calculated on Sunday but the damned computer system isn’t up yet!
- Tuesday: Danger Kitten to vet for snip/snip time
- Tuesday: Drop clothes at dry cleaner
- Wednesday: Teach Undergrads
- Wednesday: Committee meeting at noon
- Cancelled! Hot Damn! I’m dancing in my office.
- Wednesday: Meeting with Chair about Tenure Narrative.
- We’re halfway through it, but it hasn’t been painful.
- Wednesday: Meeting with journal assistant
- Thursday: Meeting with Husband’s AP Class
- Thursday: Drop dogs off at Doggie Hotel
- Thursday: Drive to my Undergrad Institution
- Friday: Give fancy research talk
- Friday: Pick up award {WOOT!}
- Saturday: Go to Obscure Football Game
- Saturday: Family Time
- Sunday: Drive home
