I’m so very tired. I’m tired of seeing those crazy McCain ads on my TV set. Last night, there were three of them, back to back during the evening news. Holy mother of god, I’m not sure I can go another five days without breaking my TV set. I guess I’ll have to start hitting the mute button every time a commercial break occurs.
I’m so very tired. I’m tired of working on the Big Ass Project for the City. It has taken over my life. The students have been good sports, for the most part, but I still have a handful of kids who didn’t show up. They are just SOL for the assignment — and it drops them a letter grade in the class. Can you say ouch?
I’m so very tired. I’m giving a guest lecture tonight and then I have to go to a reception. Not a let your hair down and relax reception, but a keep your mouth shut and don’t get in trouble reception. As Eeyore says: Oh bother.
Sorry to be overloading you with comments, I’m just finally catching up on some blog reading after taking a break from the blogosphere for a few weeks. Just wanted to add that I like the new landscape pic — very peaceful perspective.
Thanks for the comment about the pix. I took that last year when The Coach and I traveled to New Mexico and Arizona. The place in the photo is El Mapais — and if you look closely enough, you can see the lava fields!
