… until my mother-in-law arrives with her sister in tow. At least she’s bringing the non-religious sister, not the nut job who believes that The Coach and I are going to hell for reading the Harry Potter books. Now ask me, are we ready for her arrival? Uh, no. When I left for work yesterday, The Coach was supposed to clean the house. Didn’t happen. Hopefully he does it today.
I know, I know. I could just clean the house myself. However, she’s his mother, not mine — and our house on its worst day is 100 times cleaner than her house on its best day. Plus, I am going to be cooking all day on Wednesday and Thursday, so it’s only fair that he cleans the house. And, I still need to make a trip to the grocery store for last minute supplies. {sigh} That will suck, especially since it’s rainy, cold, and generally sucky outside. Oh well. It can’t be helped.
I’m envisioning an episode of The Jeffersons when George’s mother comes to visit.
LOL. I guess I should be thankful that my stepmother isn’t visiting. One year, she threw the turkey down the stairs.
WHAT!! She threw a turkey?!?! *head-desk*
Oh yeah. Maybe that should be my Thanksgiving Day blog entry!
