I have now come across the world’s most disgusting turkey: The Honeysuckle White Cajun Turkey. As someone who used to live in Cajun country, let me tell you that this turkey was an insult to Cajun culinary culture. When will people learn that there’s more to Cajun food than heat? Really, this turkey was all heat and no flavor and gave off the most disgusting smell when I cooked it.
And, for the record, I am a good cook.
Needless to say, The Coach is going to save the repulsive bird to use in Jambalaya. Hopefully that works, because I hate to toss out 14 pounds of meat.
