Hours in My Office …

… a.k.a., or why I should buy a couch!

Monday: 8 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. = 9 1/2 hours
Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. – 10 p.m. = 13 1/2 hours
Wednesday: 8 a.m. -11 p.m. = 15 hours
Thursday: 9:30 a.m. – 9:30 p.m. = 12 hours

Rat Race.

Work on journal edits until 11:30 a.m. — hopefully students will not come to office hours. Teach at noon. Work on Big Research Project from 2 – 6 p.m. Check email compulsively. Go to evening Barack Event. Go home and fall into bed, mentally exhausted.
