Taking Pictures of Big Sky Country
NOTE: We had no internet (or cell phone service) at Devil’s Tower! We had crappy internet service at our KOA in Rapid City and spotty cell service once we left the campground for Mount Rushmore and beyond. Today, we’re off to find buffalo (maybe – they were elusive yesterday) and then to Wind Cave and the Badlands. Tomorrow, we start working our way home.
You are out in the west and we don’t always get what we want when we want it. For some reason the big companies don’t or can not provide the service to small and unpopulated areas.
We are sorry you didn’t have cell phone or completely high speed internet service. We provide the best we can with what is offered to us at a reasonable price.

WTF? I wasn’t being rude about the lack of internet – just explaining why I hadn’t blogged for my friends. And, for the record, if a service is advertised as a perk, then it should exist (re: the campground). I wouldn’t have thought twice about it, if they hadn’t said that wifi was provided.
