So, what have I been doing instead of blogging about my vacation? Teaching, grading, fielding grade complaints (ah, administration), advising students who forgot to register last spring, hiding under my desk. Okay, maybe not that last item, but I’ve thought about it a time or two over the last week. I spent my Sunday curled up with a good book, putting up five quarts of corn and two quarts of tomato sauce (from my garden), and recuperating from the evils of the world. Oh, and I ordered a documentary for the class I am teaching, bought two research-related books, and — as a birthday gift for The Coach — pre-ordered the Complete Battlestar Galactica in Blu-Ray. Now, I just need to list a couple old sets of B* on Half.com and I can get back to blogging about cool things.

Is that really a birthday present for The Coach or a present for yourself via The Coach?
LOL. Well, he asked for it, but I have to admit that I will definitely enjoy them! Finally, a Series/Movie that’s not about football, basketball, soccer, or baseball!
This summer/fall we are going to make a small garden pot in our yard so we can have loads of fresh veggies in the summer. I am so jealous of your garden! Maybe next summer I can compete and have lots of fresh veggies too
LOL! Some of our veggies didn’t make it. The dogs have killed the okra. Sigh.
